In this phase we fly the Seneca III again. Unlike the Floridian version, our four Swiss planes include ice protection equipment and a weather radar. They also have a flight director which helps us to fly the planes manually. Three Senecas are equipped with an EHSI instead of a mechanical gyro compass instrument - our first step to the "glass cockpit". In addition, the Bernese Senecas have GPS receivers.
